Theon Greyjoy

After his father's failed rebellion against King Robert, Theon Greyjoy of the Iron Islands was sent to Winterfell as a hostage, where he was raised by Eddard Stark. Eddard treated Theon as his own son, and Theon and Robb Stark grew to form a brotherly relationship.

At the breakout of the War of the Five Kings, Theon fought side by side with Robb. But a desire to prove himself to his Ironborn kin led to Theon making the decision to betray the Starks and seize Winterfell.

But this hollow victory did not last long, for when Ramsay Bolton recovered the castle Theon became his prisoner. Though he has endured years of torture, he yearns for the day when he can strike down his enemy.
